At Adiuvo, we’ve always believed that our people, just as much as our systems and tech, make the difference in delivering exceptional service. So, when the opportunity came to expand our team internationally; we took a different route than most would have at that time! Rather than outsource or offshore to an anonymous provider, we built something very special of our own rooted in relationships, trust, and shared values.
It all started in Ireland almost 10 years ago with two people: first Manas and then Ram.
Both travelled from Bangalore to study for their master’s degrees at the University of Limerick and joined Adiuvo part-time during their studies. It didn’t take long for them to make a real impact on the business & us, and they quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming overnight supervisors within our call centre.
As their time in Ireland came to an end, we could have said goodbye.....or we could do something a little braver.
So, we made a decision that would help shape the future of our business. Rather than lose Manas and Ram, we chose to build a team around them back in their home country, India. Not through outsourcing or third parties, but by establishing our own company presence in Bangalore — one where we could shape the culture, define the quality standards, and ensure the same commitment to excellence that defines our UK and Ireland operations.
Today, what began with two individuals has grown into a vital part of the Adiuvo family. Our Bangalore office is now home to the majority of our tech team, a growing number of our admin staff, and a dedicated group of call-handling colleagues who work seamlessly alongside their UK and Irish counterparts and now number over (insert correct number!!).
Importantly, this isn’t a remote bolt-on or a disconnected function. It’s one team which is collaborative, integrated and proudly aligned with our company values. Members of our UK and Ireland teams regularly travel to Bangalore, spending weeks working side by side with our colleagues there. This face-to-face time helps forge real connections and keeps us united, regardless of geography.
